How to reach Sunset Beach Resort
Which direction you may coming from, important is that you always make it clear that you want to go to SAN VICENTE, POBLACION and NOT Port Barton!!! (Because this small backpacker and party village is only a part of whole San Vicente and another road leads there. Unfortunately got some guests dropped there and had a problem to get back on track)
Puerto Princesa:
From the Robinson Mall are trips several times a day (starting 12noon or 1PM) for 500-600 php per person. The last trip leaves between 4 and 5PM. Just go to the parking area in front of the main entrance and ask around. Please dont forget: NOT to Port Barton !!!
A private van (airport to resort service or other direction) costs 7,000 php one way (because of the Iranian war and increasing oil prices this may change) and must be reserved with flight number (or hotel address/pickup location) and arrival/pickup time.
El Nido:
Just ask one day before at the van terminal there (NOT your accommodation!) if they have a direct van. Please dont forget: !!! NOT to Port Barton!!!
IF NO DIRECT VAN and/or beside the scheduled trips you also can take ANYTIME (you just hop on the next leaving van or bus!) any transportation from the van terminal (Roro-, Cherry bus or any van) down south until ITABIAK crossing/junction for around 400-600 php per person. From there it goes down to San Vicente. Take any transportation what is available there (van, TukTuk, E-trike, mototaxi, just ask the Flores SariSari Store to assist you) and the driver drops you at my place.
Another option would be to arrange a private van. This would cost 7,000 php one way (either way, from or to El Nido, but because of the Iranian war and increasing oil prices this may change).
From all directions coming, only tell the driver my name and he will drop you at my place:)
When you are staying in Port Barton before then one option would be to take a boat (around 3,500 php)! Please ask the coast guard or tourist office (NOT your accommodation) in Port Barton if available. Or you ask at the terminal for a TukTuk to bring you along the coastal road.

Also please be informed, that here everybody (hotels, restaurants, tours, transportation, etc) depends on cash payments and also your stay here must be paid in cash. There is no possibility to pay via Booking.com or credit card! But there are ATMs nearby in town and also foreign currency can be changed. If you are using realtime-money-transfer-apps (like WISE APP or REVOLUT) you can pay me on spot:)

Highway up north, around 25 km after ROXAS comes ITABIAK junction (after a bridge some small stores and houses, sign board "Sunset Beach Resort, left hand side), turn left, follow the road through the mountains and down through the rice fields (never turn left or right), short after the airport the road bends 90 degrees to the right (you can see the ocean already in front of you) and after around 200m I am on the left hand side:) SAFE TRIP!
